Steve & Kate's Camps in Dallas, TX is hiring staff to help run all facets of a self‑directed camp for kids ages 4–12, focusing on safety, connections, and creative activities.
You’ll facilitate sewing, maker space, performing arts, and other activities, supervise campers, and maintain organized spaces. Requirements include 18+ with a HS diploma or GED; 2 months camp experience or 1 year in education/child care; and willingness to chaperone field trips.
Location: 5707 Royal Ln, Dallas, TX 75229
Camp Dates: 5/26/2026 (Tue) - 7/31/2026 (Fri) (plus one weekend to set up, one weekend to break down, and an orientation date)
Camp Hours: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm (actual shifts will vary)
Hourly Wage: $18.25 - $20.75 per hour. The pay range listed here is what Steve & Kate's Camp anticipates offering for this role. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on experience and other relevant factors.

How do you know if you’re the right candidate?
Staff members will be responsible for facilitating activities, making connections, and monitoring safety and wellness. Some staff will create and/or oversee activity spaces in which campers self‑select activities, while others will work in rotating support roles throughout camp. Activities include sewing, stop‑motion animation, maker space, performing arts, arts and crafts, lounging, recreation, and more.
This position requires compliance with all applicable federal, state, local, Steve & Kate's Camp, Bright Horizons', and client site requirements concerning immunizations, employment physical/screening, and health and safety training. If hired, you will work in person in a school-aged camp setting to provide supervision, care, program delivery, and services per the camp’s policies, procedures, and guidance, in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and in a manner that ensures the safety of children in care.
