National Beef Packing Company, LLC is seeking college students for the Beef Production Summer Internship. You will gain hands-on experience on the production floor, focusing on harvest and fabrication, process management, safety, quality, and yields in a state-of-the-art facility.

This paid internship runs 10-12 weeks, includes a housing allowance where required, and provides opportunities to work with the Operations Team and present insights to senior leadership at program end.

Competenze

• Enrolled in college and completed at least two years in a degree program in Animal Science, Ag Business, Microbiology/Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 in core curriculum classes.
• Demonstrated leadership and on-campus involvement.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and be self-directed on project work.
• Proficiency with all Microsoft Office products.
• Availability to work 40+ hours per week on-site for the duration of the internship.

Mansioni

• Work on the production floor in harvest and fabrication.
• Prepare detailed reports for senior management and key department heads, including a program-end presentation.
• Collaborate with the Operations Team and network with senior leadership.
• Support process management, operational planning, and yield optimization during the internship.
