Job summary

Brevan Howard Asset Management LLP is offering a Summer Internship Program in New York for students in penultimate year or equivalent. You will work with senior professionals on quantitative research and AI-driven trading problems, receiving in-depth training and exposure to a macro hedge fund environment.

The program includes mentoring, talks, and the goal to convert top interns to the 2028 Graduate Program, with housing stipend and completion bonus provided.

Qualifications

• Penultimate year undergraduate/junior or 1st year master’s/PhD student, eligible July 2028.
• Strong mathematical and quantitative capabilities; proficiency in Excel, VBA, and R.
• Programming experience in Python.
• Interest in AI with ability to explain fundamental concepts; interest in financial markets.

Responsibilities

• One-week in-depth training on Financial Markets topics.
• Work with Quant or Applied AI teams on AI-driven research and trading problems.
• Contribute to the central analytics platform and build AI-enabled tools.
• Attend talks, mentor program, and networking events.
• Aim to convert top interns to the 2028 Graduate Program.
