Job summary

Conserv FS invites you to join the GROWMARK Agronomy Intern program for Summer 2027, gaining hands-on experience in agronomy operations and customer service. You’ll develop knowledge in crop production, field scouting, and precision agriculture while participating in mentorship, professional development, networking, and a capstone project.

Applicants pursue a degree or certification and will travel to FS locations, supporting farmer-member customers across Wisconsin and beyond, with mentorship

Qualifications

Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Interest in agronomy, crop production, and agriculture.

Responsibilities

Support agronomy operations and assist agronomy professionals in serving farmer-member customers.
Learn crop production practices, crop protection products, and agronomic recommendations.
Conduct field scouting, monitor crop health, and collect field data.
Assist with agronomy trials, plot work, field demonstrations, and research projects.
Utilize precision agriculture tools for scouting and data collection.
Support product inventory, ordering, receiving, and operational activities.
Participate in customer visits and grower events.
