Job summary

Murray Independent Schools is seeking a Summer Kids' Company Instructional Monitor to supervise and support after-school care in Murray, Kentucky. You will help plan and deliver age-appropriate activities, monitor behavior, and ensure a safe environment for participating children.

The role requires a high school diploma or progress toward GED, strong communication with staff, students, and families, and compliance with state daycare regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or progress toward GED as required by Kentucky law.
• Ability to communicate with students, peers, parents and faculty.
• Familiarity with Type 1 Day Care Facility regulation.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and healthy environment for children.
• Supervise children immediately upon arrival and monitor activities.
• Plan daily activities/lessons and assist with homework as applicable.
• Prepare snacks and maintain area cleanliness after activities.
• Enforce discipline standards and ensure proper arrival/departure documentation.
