Job summary

Wisconsin Public Service, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, seeks an Intern - ADMS Network Modeler in Green Bay or Pewaukee, WI. The internship will begin in May 2027 and run full-time through the summer.

Responsibilities include developing network displays for distribution, substation and transmission views, mapping SCADA devices, and assisting with ADMS model changes. Applicants should be pursuing engineering or IT degrees with a minimum GPA of 2.8.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering, IT or related fields with a graduation date after July 2027.
• High School Diploma, GED, or HSED required.
• Minimum GPA of 2.8.

Responsibilities

• Develops knowledge to build and maintain network displays for distribution, substation and transmission views.
• Completes SCADA mapping of electrical devices with assistance.
• Builds skills to analyze and validate auto-generated views.
• Completes analysis and troubleshooting for testing and commissioning new devices with assistance.
• Analyzes import GIS information, troubleshoots errors and develops solutions.
• Promotes ADMS network model changes.
• Assists with symbols and symbol profiles within ADMS.
• Reviews network model and substation validations against business standards.
