Job summary

Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company offers a world-class technology internship program designed to help you shine in a Fortune 100 company. As a technology intern, you’ll contribute to delivering our technology strategy while gaining hands-on experience in cloud, Kubernetes, Java, Angular, Mobile and Informatica within 12 weeks.

You’ll be assigned to one of Nationwide’s Agile software development lines, with opportunities to learn in data analytics, cybersecurity, and technology analysis.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree in a technology-related discipline.
• Minimum 3.2 GPA preferred.
• Anticipated graduation between August 2027 and May 2028.
• Strong commitment to teamwork and learning.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 12-week internship program (May–August, 40 hours/week).
• Work within Agile, team-based Software Development lines.
• Mentor, job shadow, and network with technology professionals and executives.
• Collaborate on Nationwide-hosted hackathon to ideate and build business applications.
