Job summary

Blue Origin LLC in Spokane, WA invites motivated graduate students to join our Structural & Mechanical Engineering internship. You will work directly with Blue engineering teams on projects that support our propulsion systems and structures, gaining hands-on experience across design, analysis, and testing.

During the 15-week internship, you will receive mentorship from engineers, participate in organizational events, and contribute to real programs while developing technical and leadership

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
• Currently enrolled in a graduate program and have at least one semester or quarter of school remaining after the internship.
• Available to work full time for 15 weeks while not concurrently enrolled in coursework.
• Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for space.

Projects may involve aspects of applied mechanical/structural engineering including design, analysis and test of mechanical systems, propulsion systems, and structures.

Internship Experience

During your internship experience, you can expect to:

Required Qualifications

Interns are responsible for daily transportation to and from their work locations.

Hourly compensation for applicant is: $38.00
