Job summary

Armanino invites aspiring interns to gain hands-on experience in financial and IT audits, including SOC and SOX engagements, while supporting SOX, ISO assessments, and internal audits for client engagements.

You will participate in fieldwork, learn control environments, and contribute to testing and evaluation of key controls, with structured time for learning and client interactions. June 14, 2027 start.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
• Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master’s program in business with an emphasis in accounting.
• Plan to complete 150 semester/225 quarter unit requirement for CPA licensure eligibility between December 2027 – August 2028 strongly preferred

This work will include tests or procedures performed under supervision that allow the Firm to collect sufficient evidence to assess whether the clients are up to date with the latest international organization reporting standards.

You will help to ensure the completion of fieldwork related to client engagements including System and Organization Controls (SOC) audits, IT General Controls support, ISO Assessments, Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX), Internal Audits, and Agreed Upon Procedures engagements, and interact with clients to identify and resolve audit issues. 60% project work 20% continued learning 10% client facing 10% internal meetings. Start Date: June 14, 2027

Certain states require us to disclose the pay range and benefits summary for job openings. For Colorado residents, the compensation for this position: $33.00/hour. For Southern California residents, the compensation for this position: $36.00/hour. For Northern California residents, the compensation for this position: $37.00/hour. Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location. Eligible employees at certain levels can participate in a discretionary long‑term financial incentive plan, subject to plan participation rules.
