Ryan LLC in Oakland seeks a Summer 2027 Intern for Real Property Tax to work with experts on multi-state tax matters and gain hands-on exposure to state, local, federal and international taxation. You will assist with tax savings opportunities for Fortune 5000 clients in a collaborative team setting.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting, Finance, Real Estate or Economics, with anticipated graduation within a year and a GPA of 2.8+.

Qualifikationen

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Real Estate or Economics.
• Anticipated graduation date within one year of internship.
• Minimum Overall and Major GPA of 2.8.
• Minimum of 6–12 Accounting hours depending on practice.

Aufgaben

• Provide exceptional client service to multi-state companies by identifying tax savings opportunities.
• Assist multi-state companies with state and local tax controversies, including hearings and appeals.
• Research and draft technical memoranda regarding state and local tax questions or issues.
• Respond to client inquiries and requests from tax authorities.
• Review documentation and research issues.
• Work with raw data to complete detailed calculations.
