Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a Public Sector Advisory Intern to gain hands-on consulting experience across municipal governments, school districts and public power agencies. You will join a collaborative team and participate in meaningful engagements that connect your academic study to practical client solutions.

Successful candidates will be enrolled in a Master of Public Policy/Administration program or related field and must be authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Public Policy, Accounting, or related field is required or preferred.
• Master of Public Policy/Administration preferred for advancement.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Learn and participate in client engagements with real-world impact on the business.
• Participate in intern orientation and formal development program.
• Perform internal control risk, operations, and organizational reviews.
• Collaborate with staff at multiple levels—Seniors, Managers and Partners.
• Engage with public sector clients including municipal governments and school districts.
