Job summary

T-Mobile USA is offering an 11-week paid learning experience for aspiring Production/Studio professionals in Overland Park, KS. You’ll work with Producers and Production Managers on real campaigns, with mentorship and hands-on projects that impact content delivered to millions.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future.
• Must have one or more course(s) remaining in a Bachelor's or Graduate degree program post internship.
• Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for external Summer Internships; see Magenta Accelerator if interested.

• Assist with QA on final materials before delivery to stakeholders.
• Help confirm final costs, deliverables and project files before closeout.

What It's Like

T-Studios is T-Mobile's in‑house creative and production team: small enough that you'll be seen, big enough that your work reaches millions of customers. The pace is fast and the days vary. One day you're in a creative sync or pre‑production meeting, the next you're on set keeping a shoot moving. You'll work directly with experienced Producers and Production Managers who will teach you how a real production comes together.

What You'll Do

A Production Manager turns an Advertising Manager's brief into something the studio can deliver on time and on budget. As the intern, you'll support that work across true productions, filmed or recorded in‑studio or on location. You'll follow a project from the first budget conversation through final Workfront closeout. Your support keeps handoffs clean and shoots on track, which helps T-Mobile get content to market faster.

Key Responsibilities

• Track budget documents, workback schedules and Workfront updates, and flag anything at risk before it becomes a problem
• Attend creative and production syncs and creative reviews, taking notes and following up on action items
• Prepare for pre‑production meetings and compile the call sheet
• Shadow the Producer and Production Manager on set, help field partner feedback and pitch in wherever needed to keep the shoot on track
• Flag post‑production issues such as missing footage, tight deadlines or partner revisions, and help coordinate finishing resources
• Follow creative deliverable approvals through Business Affairs, CoMa and Legal, and chase outstanding feedback
• Assist with QA on final materials before assets are trafficked and delivered
• Help confirm final costs, deliverables and project files are accounted for before closeout

What It Takes

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• A solutions‑oriented mindset, with the urgency to flag problems early and the curiosity to ask why
• The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once
• Comfort working as both a team member and a leader, and presenting group projects
• Eagerness to learn and take direction in a fast‑paced production environment
• Preferred: exposure to studio or location productions through coursework, internships or freelance work; familiarity with Workfront or similar workflow tools; knowledge of call sheets, on‑set protocols and post‑production workflows. No professional experience required.

Minimum Qualifications

Relocation assistance will be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location.

Intern wages range from $27/hour to $50/hour. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on education/STEM vs non-STEM designation.
