Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited engineering school
• Majoring in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, or related degree
• Must complete at least two full-time, alternating or sequential Co-op rotations before graduation
• Self-motivated, team-oriented and detail-focused
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple tasks

Responsibilities

• Assist Estimators and Sales Engineers in all phases of the bid process
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to solicit material and equipment quotes
• Manage and organize construction documents
• Review project drawings and specifications with Preconstruction team to develop estimates and proposals
• Use FastPIPE, FastDUCT, Bluebeam to produce labor and materials reports
• Support Preconstruction initiatives, including RPAs and data capture
• Attend jobsite walks to track and measure estimate performance
• Foster relationships with profit centers and represent the Preconstruction department
