Job summary

Constellation is seeking highly motivated Engineering students for Power Generation Facility Internships in Yuba City, CA at the Sutter Energy Center. These paid internships run about 10 weeks from June 7, 2027 to August 13, 2027.

Interns will work on specific projects under supervision to gain hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks. Responsibilities include assisting Plant Engineers, recording gauges, supporting safety procedures, and helping develop standard

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering at an accredited college.
• Junior standing preferred.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Willingness to work outdoors and in a hands-on environment.
• Good problem solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Plant Engineer with day-to-day engineering tasks.
• Assist with shift operations including starting and stopping equipment.
• Maintain shift logs and records as required.
• Read gauges and meters and record readings.
• Support mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks under supervision.
• Contribute to development of standard operating procedures.
• Assist with spare parts inventory and requisitions.
• Follow safety standards and plant procedures.
