Job summary

National Fuel Gas Company in Williamsville, NY is seeking a motivated Engineering Intern for Summer 2027. The internship offers hands-on experience across pipeline engineering projects and exposure to real-world analysis while supporting a diverse team.

Responsibilities include reviewing maps, assisting with replacement projects, and compiling reports. Candidates must be upper-division engineering students at an ABET-accredited school with at least two years of study, strong communication

Qualifications

• Upper division engineering student (ABET-accredited) with at least two years of coursework.
• Concentrations in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Environmental Engineering preferred.
• Minimum GPA of 0.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated; able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, and Access.

• Assist Engineers in developing pipeline replacement projects and in performing engineering analysis and cost studies.
• Research of pipeline facility and gas system operations data and preparation of associated reports.

The successful candidate may be involved in the following projects:

QUALIFICATIONS:

COMPENSATION:

The base salary for this position is $25/hr.
