Mars Petcare is offering a Health, Safety, and Environment Intern position as part of a 10-11 week summer program. You will gain exposure to site and regional HSE initiatives, conduct safety assessments, and support training and audits across Mars factories.

The program provides mentorship, Mars University access, and networking opportunities. Housing may be provided for non-local interns, and interns benefit from a competitive salary and benefits package.

Formación

• Internship experience preferred or required in EHS field.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Drug and background screening required for employment.
• Must have transportation to and from the work site for the duration of the internship.

Responsabilidades

• Support Site and Regional HSE focus initiatives.
• Perform site assessments for safety and environmental compliance.
• Develop and lead safety trainings for Mars associates.
• Perform risk assessments and implement control measures.
• Conduct on-the-job safety analyses focusing on ergonomics and improvements.
• Assist in HSE program reviews and gap assessments.
• Assist in technical audits of Mars factories.

Petcare Health, Safety, and Environment Internship Experience

As a Petcare Health, Safety, and Environment Intern, you will gain exposure to the following areas:

• Support Site and Regional HSE in focus initiatives

• Perform site assessments to ensure safety and environmental regulatory compliance

• Develop and lead safety trainings for Mars associates

• Perform risk assessments and help implement appropriate control measures

• Perform on the job safety analysis looking at ergonomics and improvement opportunities

• HSE Program Review and Gap Assessments

• Assist in technical audits of other Mars factories

What we’re looking for:

• Preferred degree in environmental, health, and safety / occupational health and safety

• Eligible candidates will intern the summer prior to their final graduation date.

• Open to students legally authorized to work in the U.S., without the need for current or future work status authorization or visa sponsorship for employment.

• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of drug & background screening.

• Eligible candidates will be responsible for personal transportation to and from work site during duration of the internship program.
