Mars, Incorporated is offering a Petcare End to End Planning Internship Experience in Franklin, Tennessee. You will gain exposure to planning tools, replenishment, and project work to drive cost savings and service improvements.

Eligible students majoring in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering or related fields, with experience in MS Office, SAP, PowerBI, and AI-driven process improvement, should apply. Summer internship with drug and background screening contingencies.

Qualifications

• Majors in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering or similar.
• Experience with MS Office programs (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with SAP and PowerBI.
• Experience using AI models to drive process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Use planning tools for analysis and planning of network inventory requirements balancing service and cost.
• Plan and execute replenishment of raws/packs into factories and/or finished goods into warehousing network.
• Participate in daily/weekly operating review meetings and flag risks/opportunities.
• Identify and manage projects to drive continuous improvement, cost savings, and supply chain metric improvements (OTIF, CS, etc).

Mars Petcare End to End Planning Internship Experience

As a Petcare End to End Planning Intern, you will gain exposure to the following areas:

• Use Planning tools for analysis and planning of network inventory requirements that balance optimizing customer service and cost
• Plan & execute replenishment of raws /packs into our factories and/or finished goods into our warehousing network
• Actively participate in daily/weekly operating review meetings and flag risks/opportunities as appropriate
• Identify and manage projects to drive continuous improvement , cost savings , and supply chain metric improvements such as C ustomer Service Levels, On-Time In-Full (OTIF), Production Schedule Adherence, Payload Utilization, Safety Stock Attainment, etc

What we're looking for:

• Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering or similar majors
• Experience with MS Office programs, notably Excel, Outlook, Word, Powerpoint
• Experience with SAP and PowerBI
• Experience with using AI models to drive process improvement
• Locations include internships in Franklin, Tennessee
• Eligible candidates will intern the summer prior to their final graduation date.
• Open to students legally authorized to work in the U.S., without the need for current or future work status authorization or visa sponsorship for employment.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of drug & background screening.
• Eligible candidates will be responsible for personal transportation to and from work site during duration of the internship program .
