Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking Landscape Architecture students to join our San Jose, California office for Summer 2027. This is not a remote position and interns will work on site in San Jose, CA.

Responsibilities include using software to analyze and QC deliverables, contributing to site planning and urban/landscape design, and supporting multidisciplinary teams on projects ranging from land planning to parks and public infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Landscape Architecture degree (BS or MS).
• Preference for students in or near San Jose, CA.

Responsibilities

• Use software to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
• Contribute to site planning, urban and landscape design, and graphic production.
• Assist with land planning, streetscapes, and public infrastructure design.
• Solve problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines.
• Learn company practices, standards, and local/regulatory considerations.

Education

Landscape Architecture degree (BS/MS) in progress
