Job summary

Stryker Group invites you to join the Ortho Sales internship in Charlotte, NC. This role provides exposure to frontline sales, operations, and instrument handling, while you develop a strong business acumen in a healthcare setting.

You will shadow professionals, assist in project work, and participate in cross-team initiatives, with compensation including an hourly wage, sign-on bonus, and housing stipend options depending on location.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree with plans to enroll in a degree-seeking program after summer.
• GPA 3.0 or above preferred.
• U.S. permanent resident or U.S. citizen.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
• Versatility and flexibility with changing priorities.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Shadow Sales Associates, Sales Representatives, and Operations Team Members to gain insight into all aspects of the branch; Attend and/or prepare a sales presentation.
• Prepare a project segment that develops a target account list and/or development of a marketing potential or strategy.
• Learn selling skills and instrument use techniques with coaching from Sales staff.
• Shadow and assist Team Member Drivers with delivery of kits to and from accounts.
• Assist Team Members in warehouse in assembling and breaking down instrument kits, prepping products for surgery.
• Interact with various teams concerning the products.
• Assist Sales and Field Operations Teams with special projects as assigned.

$20 min hourly wage – $35 max hourly wage, sign-on bonus, 11 paid holidays annually, and either paid corporate housing or a living stipend, dependent upon hiring location
