Responsibilities

• Develop an internal newsletter/spotlight/educational tool for non-W&I teams' overview of content, updates, and audience insights.
• Contribute to project objectives by defining briefs and gathering stakeholder input to narrate impact.
• Schedule kickoff meetings, follow-ups, and track milestones to sharpen project management.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to propose new projects to drive user engagement.
• Gain knowledge of the financial news space and stock market research.

About the Role: Business & Product Strategy Intern

You Will

• Understand the value propositions for Dow Jones’ consumer investing products and the consumers who use them.
• Work cross‑functionally across product strategy, audience and commerce and contribute to strategic projects that drive the business.
• Help to develop an internal newsletter/spotlight/educational tool(frequency tbd) that gives non-W&I teams an overview of key content that has resonated with our audiences, product updates, and otherwise.
• Contribute to key strategic initiative development including writing briefs to define project objectives and user needs, working to get input and information from stakeholder teams to provide a robust narrative on the potential impact the project can make.
• Hone project management skills by scheduling kick off meetings, follow ups and tracking milestones.
• Sharpen creative thinking through market research and competitive analysis to develop a set of new projects that our business should consider to drive user engagement with our brands.
• Gain knowledge of the financial news space as well as stock market research and investing.

You Have
