Job summary

Radiant, an El Segundo, CA-based startup building the world’s first mass-produced, portable nuclear microreactors, is seeking a Marketing & Communications Intern to join the team for Summer 2027. You will draft social media content for the company brand, create press materials, and develop milestone content for major announcements, while ensuring brand consistency across channels.

This 100% onsite internship at Radiant’s HQ in El Segundo, CA requires pursuing a BS or MS in Marketing,

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Marketing, Communications, Branding, or related discipline.
• Experience in content marketing, brand communications, or corporate communications.
• Exceptional writing skills with the ability to adapt voice for different audiences.
• Strong visual sensibility.
• Familiarity with social media best practices across major platforms.
• Ability to work quickly and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Draft social media content for Radiant brand account across channels.
• Create press materials including press releases, fact sheets, executive bios, FAQ documents, and backgrounders.
• Develop milestone content packages for major announcements including visual assets, posts for investors, and media talking points.
• Maintain brand consistency across touchpoints—website, social, presentations, events, investor materials.
• Manage external creative vendors (design, renderings, video) to produce high-quality visual assets.

Summer 2027 Internship - Marketing & Communications

Radiant is an El Segundo, CA-based startup building the world’s first mass-produced, portable nuclear microreactors. The company’s first reactor, Kaleidos, is a 1-megawatt, fail-safe microreactor that can be transported anywhere power is needed and run for up to 5 years without refueling. Portable nuclear power with rapid-deploy capability can replace similar-sized diesel generators and provide critical asset support for hospitals, data centers, remote sites, and military bases. Radiant’s unique, practical approach to nuclear development leverages modern software engineering to rapidly deliver safe, factory-built microreactors that use existing, well-qualified materials. Founded in 2020, Radiant is on track to test its first reactor at the Idaho National Laboratory this summer, with initial customer deliveries beginning in 2028.
