Job summary

Stryker Group is seeking a Market Development Intern to apply classroom knowledge to real-world healthcare market projects, gain mentorship from leaders, and contribute to an innovative, collaborative culture that shapes the future of medical devices.

As part of the role, you will conduct market and competitive research, analyze customer needs and service data, support market assessments and go-to-market recommendations, and help prepare presentations for business stakeholders across Sales,

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, or a related field; must remain enrolled after the internship.
• Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above (verified at time of hire).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in healthcare, medical devices, and/or service-based business models.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; data analysis is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Curious, self-motivated, and comfortable in a cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market and competitive research related to medical device service offerings.
• Analyze customer, installed-base, and service data to identify growth opportunities.
• Support development of market assessments, business cases, and go-to-market recommendations.
• Research customer needs, industry trends, and emerging service models.
• Assist with projects focused on service contracts, preventive maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and lifecycle solutions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Service Operations, and Product teams on market development initiatives.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and insights for business stakeholders.

What You Need

• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and not require employment-based sponsorship now or in the future.

• Interest in healthcare, medical devices, and/or service-based business models.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data analysis is a plus.

$20 min hourly wage – $35 max hourly wage, sign-on bonus, 11 paid holidays annually, and either paid corporate housing or a living stipend, dependent upon hiring location
