Job summary

QTS Realty Trust is seeking an Internal Infrastructure Projects Intern in Irving, TX. The role involves supporting end-to-end project execution for data center infrastructure, from planning to installation and testing of mechanical and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in end-to-end project execution activities from planning to installation and testing of electrical and mechanical equipment in data centers.
• Create, analyze and follow up on RFPs; organize notes from PM meetings and updates.
• Track budgets and report findings; support project leads with site investigations and vendor meetings.
• Perform safety evaluations and report project milestones and meeting minutes.

The Internal Infrastructure Projects Intern will be immersed in a variety of tasks around the life-cycle of end-to-end project execution from planning & designing the layout to the installation and testing of mechanical & electrical equipment associated with data centers such as towers, chillers, mechanical systems, UPS, Switchgear, Generators, Static Transfer Switches, electrical systems and other facilities building engineering systems.
