Job summary

QTS Realty Trust is seeking an Accounts Payable Intern to work on real-world projects in a collaborative finance environment. You will support invoice processing, coding, and approvals while partnering with internal teams on various initiatives.

The role emphasizes learning through hands-on tasks, data analysis in Excel, and exposure to month-end activities, with opportunities to develop business and financial acumen.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review, validate and process vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with invoice coding and routing approvals per company policy.
• Monitor AP workflows and resolve discrepancies, payment issues, and inquiries.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and cross-functional projects.
