Job summary

McClelland Consulting Engineers (MCE), an ESP Company, is seeking an engineering intern in Little Rock to support CAD design and project documentation. You will assist in creating and preparing detailed plans and scale drawings for civil and structural projects, following CAD standards and client preferences.

Under supervision, you will revise plans per redlines, learn from engineers and project managers, and expand your knowledge by embracing new technologies while communicating effectively

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Experience in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Optimize “best practices” for CAD design.
• Create and prepare detailed plans and/or scale drawings for civil engineering and structural engineering projects.
• Produce drawings in accordance with company CAD standards, specific project requirements and client preferences.
• Revise plans per redlines or review comments and communicate with engineer and/or project manager as needed.
• Open to learning and embracing new technologies to complete tasks related to job or assignment.
• Effectively communicate with all team members.
