Job summary

Stout seeks a Summer Intern for the Disputes, Claims, & Investigations group, gaining exposure to litigation-focused engagements such as forensic accounting, fraud investigations, and damages quantification.

You'll help build financial models, analyze statements, organize documents, perform data entry, conduct industry research, and support Analysts and Associates on ad-hoc requests in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline
• Strong academic record of at least a 3.2 GPA (required)
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Relevant internship and/or extracurricular related experiences
• Strong analytical, verbal, technical, and written skills
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be eligible to work in the US, without employer sponsorship, at the time of hire and in the future

Internship – Disputes, Claims, & Investigations Summer Internships

In the Disputes, Claims, & Investigations group work primarily on engagements within a litigation setting. Common engagements include: forensic accounting, fraud investigations, valuation, shareholder disputes, intellectual property disputes, employment disputes, quantification of commercial damages, and quantifying complex insurance claims.

As a Summer Intern, a typical day might include the following:

• Assisting in the creation of financial models

Additional Information

The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $32.00/hour (depending on prior work and industry experience, education level, and unique skills).

• This role is not eligible for bonus or benefits.
