Summer 2027 Intern - Construction Application Development Lab
The Application Development Lab Intern will support the Technical and Commercial teams by assisting in the testing and evaluation of construction materials, including sealants, coatings, and adhesives. This internship provides hands‑on experience in a laboratory environment, helping to assess new products and improve existing solutions that serve the building and construction industry. The intern will gain exposure to technical problem‑solving, materials characterization, building product performance testing, and application development while contributing to real‑world customer and innovation projects. Students pursuing degrees in Architectural Engineering, Building Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related programs focused on commercial buildings and building systems will be particularly well‑suited for this opportunity, as they can apply their understanding of building envelope performance, construction materials, and building design principles in a practical, industry‑focused setting.
The candidate must be actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at the time of application and for at least one semester following the conclusion of the internship. The candidate is expected to be available 40 hours a week for a period of 10-12 weeks between the months of May and August.
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. Completion of at least one prior laboratory course (academic or industry-based).
Base Pay Range: $22.00 - $26.00
The base salary offered is determined by factors including but not limited to education, experience, skill sets, and geography.
