Job summary

The Imagine Group, LLC is seeking an HR Intern for our Shakopee, MN location. This role offers hands-on experience across talent acquisition, onboarding, employee engagement, HR operations, and compliance within a fast-paced visual communications environment.

You will collaborate with the HR team, learn to use HRIS and related systems, and contribute to meaningful projects while developing professional skills for a career in human resources.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Demonstrated organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in handling information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Assist with full hiring and onboarding processes from recruitment through orientation.
• Support employee engagement initiatives and company events.
• Utilize HRIS and other systems to maintain employee data and processes.
• Gain exposure to HR operations, compliance, and employee relations projects.
• Shadow HR team members across functions and provide general administrative support.

As an HR Intern, you will gain valuable hands‑on experience working with a dynamic Human Resources team that supports employees across multiple locations nationwide. You will gain exposure to a broad range of HR functions, including talent acquisition, onboarding, employee engagement, HR operations, and compliance. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects, collaborate with employees and leaders throughout the organization, and support initiatives that enhance the overall employee experience. An internship with Imagine means hands‑on, real‑life experience learning from experts in the field of creative branding and print production.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, self‑motivated, ambitious, and have superb organizational abilities. Internship will be fully onsite at our Shakopee location.

Knowledge and skills you will gain:

• Learn how Human Resources supports employees and business operations within the manufacturing and printing industry.
• Assist with the full hiring and onboarding process from recruitment through new hire orientation.

• Utilize HRIS and other HR systems to maintain employee data and support HR processes.
• Understand compliance and handling sensitive information through employee relations case studies and other projects.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications of Position

• Currently pursuing a Bachelors’ degree in Human Resources or a related field
• Ability to learn quickly and apply knowledge
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated organization skills and attention to detail
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

PAY STATEMENT

The national pay range for this role is listed above. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
