Job summary

FOX News Channel is offering an internship through its Technical Operations team in New York, on-site. You will gain practical experience in control room/studio operations, transmission, lighting, and editing while supporting teleprompter systems.

Eligible applicants must be enrolled in college, be sophomores or above, maintain strong academics, and commit to the full program. You must have access to housing and transportation for the internship duration.

The FOX Internship Program offers an exciting opportunity for you to gain practical experience while interning for one of the biggest sports, media, and entertainment companies in the world. You will have the opportunity to participate in real-world projects, which provides valuable work experience and leadership skills. Our Technical Operations team offers an unique experience for our interns. Working with the Technical Operations team will expose you to our Control Room/Studio Operations, as well as Transmission, Lighting and Editing. You will be exposed to our prompter systems and software. Our interns will gain exposure to facets of studio operations including teleprompter, studio setup, and other studio positions.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Location: Please note this internship is offered on-site in New York.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

• Students accepted into the Summer 2027 Program: Are required to provide a copy of an unofficial transcript or letter from the adviser/registrar showing proof of enrollment

AREAS OF PLACEMENT

• You will be considered for an internship based on the content of your cover letter, as well as your prior experience and interests, as determined during the recruitment process. You may be placed on FOX News Channel or FOX Business Network with the Technical Operations team.

SUMMER 2027 SCHEDULE

• General Application Deadline: Sunday, January 10, 2027
• Summer Session 1: Monday, June 7, 2027 - Friday, July 30, 2027
• Summer Session 2: Monday, June 21, 2027 - Friday, August 13, 2027
• Scheduled Weekly Hours: 32 - 40 hours per week

NOTE: Schedules vary based on department needs and your availability. We do our best to work around your class schedule.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $20.00 per hour.
