Job summary

Nationwide is seeking an Enterprise Risk Management Intern in Columbus, OH, for a 12-week summer program that offers hands-on exposure to model risk, risk reporting, and analytics. You will work with mentors and learn how risk decisions are made in a large financial services organization.

As part of a collaborative team, interns develop analytical and communication skills, gain exposure to multiple ERM areas, and may be considered for future full-time opportunities within Nationwide.

Qualifications

• Pursuing degree in Risk Management, Finance, Economics, Data Science, Business Administration or Statistics, within 2–3 semesters of graduation.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and strong communication skills.
• Ability to think strategically and analytically.

The Nationwide® Intern Program is a 12-week summer internship in Columbus, Ohio that provides participants with opportunities to gain valuable experience in risk management. You’ll receive the chance to work in and learn about the various areas and functions of enterprise risk management, such as model risk management, risk modeling, operational risk management, risk reporting, risk governance, risk data and analytics. Our interns are strongly considered for future full-time positions.

Nationwide pays on a geographic-specific salary structure and placement within the actual starting salary range for this position will be determined by a number of factors including the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; and other conditions of employment.

The national hourly pay range for Nationwide Internships is: $23 - $50
