Enterprise Risk Management functions include: Investment Risk Management, Asset Liability Management, Operational Risk Management, Risk & Capital Reporting, Enterprise Model Risk Management, Enterprise Risk & Capital Modeling, Enterprise Analytics Office as well as matrixed relationships with the Nationwide Financial and Property & Casualty Actuarial offices.

The Nationwide® Intern Program is a 12-week summer internship in Columbus, Ohio that provides participants with opportunities to gain valuable experience in risk management. You’ll receive the chance to work in and learn about the various areas and functions of enterprise risk management, such as model risk management, risk modeling, operational risk management, risk reporting, risk governance, risk data and analytics. Our interns are strongly considered for future full-time positions.

Skills/Qualifications Desired

• Students pursuing degrees in the following academic fields: Risk Management, Finance, Economics, Data Science, Business Administration, Statistics, within 2-3 semesters of graduation
• Superior academic achievement (minimum 3.0 GPA)
• Experiences that demonstrate leadership qualities
• Communication and analytical skills
• Ability to think strategically and critically

Nationwide pays on a geographic-specific salary structure and placement within the actual starting salary range for this position will be determined by a number of factors including the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; and other conditions of employment.

The national hourly pay range for Nationwide Internships is: $23 - $50
