Interns work side-by-side with industry experts, participating in field investigations, observations, and lab activities while applying classroom knowledge to real-world challenges.

Qualifications

• Current student with excellent academic standing in their junior or senior year of a bachelor's or in a graduate program in civil or structural engineering, architecture, architectural engineering, building science, or related field.
• Effective verbal, graphical, and written communication skills.
• Enthusiasm for solving problems in the built world and curiosity about how things work.

Responsibilities

• Assist project teams with on-site investigations and construction observations, including documenting distress and collecting data.
• Organize field data and research construction documents, building codes, and design guidelines.
• Perform analysis under licensed supervision using analysis software and calculations.
• Assist in preparing preliminary and final client deliverables, drawings, specifications, and reports.
