Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Mechanical design — CAD, assemblies, mechanisms, and structural components for next‑generation systems.
• Prototyping & manufacturing — turning designs into hardware through machining, fabrication, 3D printing, and other manufacturing processes.
• Testing & validation — building test setups, running experiments, analyzing results, and improving designs.
• Structures & mechanisms — designing components that withstand demanding mechanical, thermal, and environmental requirements.
• Systems integration — integrating mechanical hardware with electrical, embedded, and autonomous systems.
• Engineering tools & analysis — simulations, modeling, tolerance analysis, and tools that accelerate hardware development.

The Role

Mach's Summer 2027 Engineering Internship, Mechanical is open for future engineers and builders who want to work with us. This is a paid, in‑person, 12‑week internship.

What We’re Looking For

• Enrollment in a BS, MS, or PhD program in mechanical or a related engineering discipline

• Ability to complete in an in‑person 12‑week internship in one of our offices in summer 2027

• Available to work extended hours and weekends as needed

Pay Range

$30—$55 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
