Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace in Appleton, WI invites collegiate engineers to join a hands-on internship focused on generating electrical data to support completions outfitting of business aircraft. You will work with a team in your field of study on real-world challenges and tour our manufacturing facilities to see products up close.

During 10–12 weeks in Spring/Summer 2027, you’ll gain guidance from company leaders, build a professional network, and accelerate your development toward future leadership

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher (unrounded) must be listed on resume.
• Must be available to work on-site in Appleton, WI during Spring 2027 (May 2027).
• Minimum 10–12 weeks (summer); 10–16 weeks (spring/fall).
• Must work on-site; not remote.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to engineering staff and complete discrete tasks on schedule.
• Apply engineering knowledge to resolve aircraft-related issues per company procedures.
• Generate and analyze miscellaneous technical data.
• Interface with internal organizations.
• Develop knowledge of technical principles in the assigned field.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to engineering staff and contribute by completing discrete engineering tasks on schedule.

• Develop knowledge of application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in assigned field of expertise.

Education And Experience Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in one of the following disciplines:
• Aerospace Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Must be available to work on-site in Appleton, WI during the Spring 2027 semester, beginning in May 2027.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 (without rounding); must be listed on resume.
