Job summary

Cryptic Vector is seeking a Cyber Engineering Intern. You will engage in reverse engineering, vulnerability analysis, and software development, gaining hands-on experience with Kubernetes, DevSecOps, and mission automation.

Eligible students are sophomores to seniors in CS/CE/Cyber Eng, must be a US citizen, and available Spring through Fall. On-site 40 hours/week and a role contributing to national security projects are expected.

Qualifications

• On-site 40 hours/week required; US Citizenship required.
• Spring, Summer and Fall semesters availability.

Cyber Engineering Intern

We’re looking for sophomores, juniors or seniors enrolled in a Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree program. This position will involve a variety of technologies and skillsets to include reverse engineering, vulnerability analysis, software development, Kubernetes, mission automation, and DevSecOps.

Responsibilities

• Work on cutting-edge technologies in reverse engineering, vulnerability analysis, and software development.
• Develop and enhance mission-critical software solutions with a focus on security and automation.
• Gain hands-on experience with Kubernetes, DevSecOps practices, and mission automation.
• Assist in identifying and analyzing security vulnerabilities in software and systems.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers on real-world projects that impact national security.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to improve system performance and security.
• Research and experiment with new tools, techniques, and technologies to enhance cybersecurity solutions.

Requirements

• Current Sophomore, Junior, or Senior
• Relevant degree program (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cyber Engineering)
• US Citizenship required
• Available during the Spring, Summer, and Fall Semester
• 40 hours/week on-site at Cryptic Vector
