Job summary

Armanino is offering an audit internship designed to give you hands-on experience working with professionals at all levels. You will participate in trainings and engage in audit procedures, workpapers, and client engagements starting June 14, 2027.

You will gain exposure to the field of public accounting while integrating your studies with real project work, and you’ll have opportunities to build your network and skills within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s program in business with an emphasis in accounting.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Strong interest in audit and professional services.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing and documenting audit procedures and workpapers.
• Contribute to audits, reviews, and other engagements as part of a team.
• Interpret financial data and communicate findings to the engagement team.
• Research client industry and technical matters.
• Engage with client personnel to develop relationships.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's in business with accounting emphasis

CPA licensure eligibility planned between December 2027 – August 2028

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in the performance and documentation of audit procedures and preparation of workpapers to contribute to the completion of audit, review, and other engagements.
• Work as an individual contributor and as part of an engagement team to support client needs
• Interpret and analyze financial date and communicate all findings and issues to the engagement team
• Research and analyze pertinent client, industry, and technical matters
• Engage with client personnel, as well as the engagement team to develop further relationships

Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
• Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master’s program in business with an emphasis in accounting

Preferred Qualifications

• Plan to complete 150 semester/225 quarter unit requirement for CPA licensure eligibility between December 2027 – August 2028 strongly preferred
