Job summary

Cherry Bekaert offers an Audit Intern position that provides exposure to the public accounting profession and a solid foundation for your career. You will work with multiple supervisors on diverse client engagements and use firm technology to apply accounting knowledge.

You will shadow audit professionals at all levels, participate in team-building and training, and contribute to marketing or research projects. Attendance at events is encouraged, with travel to client sites as required.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited accounting or related program, two years from graduation.
• GPA 3.0/4.0 or above preferred, but not required.
• Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software programs.
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including frequent same-day travel.

Responsibilities

What you bring to the role:

• Juniors or seniors enrolled in an accredited accounting or related program, two years from graduation
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above preferred, but not required

• Ability to travel to client sites as needed, including frequent same-day travel
