Job summary

Notre Dame in Minneapolis seeks a student or graduate to develop ALM tools and analyses that drive business outcomes. You will apply programming expertise to enhance ALM processes and improve efficiency across asset selections for liability lines.

You will also assist in responding to auditors and regulators, ensuring transparency and compliance, and leverage AI tools, including generative AI, to gain deeper insights.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in mathematics, finance, economics, computer science, actuarial science, engineering, or related field.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
• Strong data analysis skills for evaluating ALM metrics and trends.
• Experience with Excel, VBA, and/or other programming languages.

Your Role

About You

The company is looking for candidates who have:

• Superior communication, programming, and math skills.
• Experience using Excel, VBA, and/or other programming languages.
• Strong data analysis skills for evaluating and interpreting ALM metrics and trends.
• Leadership experience is a plus.
• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in mathematics, finance, economics, computer science, actuarial science, engineering, or a related technical field.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring immigration sponsorship now or in the future, including holders of H-1B, H4, L-1, L-2, TN, OPT, CPT, and other nonimmigrant visas.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly pay range of $25 to $29, exclusive of company benefits or other compensation.
• Final base salary determined by geographic location, experience, skills, competencies, education, and internal equity.
• Hiring near the maximum of the range is not typical to allow for future salary growth.
