Job summary

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, seeks a Suites and Catering Server at INTRUST Bank Arena in Wichita, KS. You will sell and serve food and beverages, assist guests with POS, and support event catering and setup.

Qualifying candidates will have 6–12 months server/bartending experience, strong customer service, English fluency and the ability to work flexible hours including weekends.

Qualifications

• Six to twelve months prior server and/or bartending experience.
• Cash handling and credit card processing experience preferred.
• Must speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Promptly assist guests with ordering at point of sale.
• Deliver food and beverages to guests promptly and accurately.
• Attend to guest needs and assist co-workers appropriately.
• Catering responsibilities include event setup, service and breakdown.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an immediate opening for Suites and Catering Server at INTRUST Bank Arena.

Summary:

Sales and service of Food and Beverage to guests. Assists guests and co-workers with point of sale and order fulfillment. Regular attendance, conformance with the policies established by the Food & Beverage Department is essential to the successful performance of this position.

Responsibilities:

• Promptly assist guests with ordering point of sale.
• Prompt and accurate delivery of food and beverage to guests.
• Anticipate guest needs and attend to guests appropriately.
• Assist in food, beverage, equipment, meeting supplies, china, glass, and silverware.
• Inventories on a predetermined basis.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization and security of all work areas and rooms.
• Follow rules and regulations of Food & Beverage.
• Interact with guests and team members in a pleasant and professional manner.
• Catering responsibilities, as required, include preparation and breakdown of event, set-up, distribution of food, maintain guest contact, refill beverages, pick-up utensils, and dinnerware,
• Regular attendance is an essential job function.
• Position requires the ability to work at all Legends Global venues in Wichita and Andover.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by Manager.

• Reports to Premium and Catering Manager in appropriate uniform, for assigned location.
• Positive, customer service-oriented attitude at all times.
• Knowledge of sanitary practices.
• Maintains proper grooming and dress code standards.
• Work ethic encourages strong urgency and quality in a team environment.
• Ability to work with other staff members in the facility.
• Follow all rules and regulations which apply to food and beverage department.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of food and beverage service
• Six to twelve months prior server and/or bartending experience.
• Point of sale computer operation systems.
• Ability to follow directions and effectively perform the work.
• Positive attitude and neat appearance.
• Must speak and understand English.
• Attend all Food & Beverage Training class as well as venue training as directed.
• Ability to pass background/credit check.

Other Qualifications:

Requires ability to work flexible hours- may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Eligible to work in United States.

Physical Demands:

This position requires bending, stooping and lifting up to 40 lbs. Substantial standing and walking.
