Job summary

Athene is seeking a Team Leader to support Suitability and New Business functions in processing, quality review and reporting. You will guide a team to meet deadlines, provide coaching, and act as a subject matter expert while aligning with Athene products and service standards.

Responsibilities include mentoring staff, setting priorities, handling escalations, documenting processes, and leading special projects. Strong communication and experience in life/annuities are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years of related experience preferred.
• Experience with life, annuities and/or financial services products required.
• Experience in annuity computer systems preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse customer base.

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching and mentoring to staff.
• Set priorities for the team in partnership with the manager.
• Provide performance feedback and participate in interviewing new staff.
• Delegate work and assign responsibilities to the team.
• Serve as a technical resource for the team and internal customers.
