Job summary

Sugarloaf Mountain Corporation in Kentucky is seeking a dependable worker for the winter season to join as a second shift Hotel/Public Area Cleaning Attendant. The primary duty is to keep all common, office, and hotel areas clean, including trash removal, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, restroom cleaning and recyclables.

This role typically works 2pm–10pm on weekdays and weekends; starting wage is $19–$22 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Driver’s License and own vehicle.
• Must be able to work as part of a team, have good guest service skills and be safety conscious.
• Must be available for afternoon/evenings shifts and during our busy guest times.

Responsibilities

• Keep all buildings, break rooms, offices, and service areas clean.
• Remove trash, vacuum, dust, clean windows and walls, mop, clean restrooms, and take care of recyclables.
• Perform deliveries as needed and when other departments need janitorial supplies.
• Assist housekeeping as needed.
• Complete daily records as required.
• Perform carpet cleaning if needed.
• Assist laundry room if needed.

Overview

Sugarloaf is looking for a dependable worker to join our team for the coming winter season as a second shift Hotel/Public Area Cleaning Attendant. The primary duty of a Public Area Attendant is to keep all common, office, and hotel areas clean. Essential job functions are to remove trash, vacuum, dust, clean windows and walls, mop, clean restrooms, and take care of recyclables. This position may also assist with deliveries for the housekeeping department and assist the department as needed.

This role typically works an afternoon/evening shift from 2pm to 10pm. Starting wage for this full-time winter season position is between $19-22 per hour depending upon previous experience.
