Sugarloaf Mountain Corporation is hiring a Part-Time Cashier for the Narrow Gauge Food Court this winter season in Carrabassett Valley, Maine. You will operate the point of sale system, assist with restocking, and deliver excellent guest service in a busy resort setting.

The role starts at $16/hour with perks such as free lift access, a complimentary shift meal, and resort discounts. Flexibility for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to deliver friendly customer service.
• Willingness to stand for extended periods.

Overview

Sugarloaf is looking for a friendly and reliable person to join our Food and Beverage Team as a Part-Time Cashier at our Narrow Gauge Food Court location this coming winter season. As a Cashier, you are responsible for operating a point of sale system, assisting with restocking items, and providing excellent customer service.

This part-time role will start at $16/hr and comes with great job perks.

Responsibilities

• Completing guest transactions with a point of sale computer system
• Handling cash, credit, gift cards and other methods of payment
• Balancing cash drawers and making daily deposits
• Answering guest questions
• Restocking materials as needed to keep shelves full and items available for guests
• Maintaining a clean and orderly work area
• Assisting with other assigned tasks

Qualifications

This position may be for you if:

• You are at least 18 years old
• You are able to work days, evenings, weekendsand holidays
• Cash handling experience is preferred
• You are interested in a position in customer service
• You are able to stand for long periods of time
