Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. is seeking a field-oriented utility locator/designator for its Raleigh, NC area team. You will operate vacuum excavation equipment, designate underground utilities, and document daily activities while adhering to safety standards.

Applicants should have 2–4 years of utility experience, a valid driver’s license, and be prepared to obtain a DOT medical card. CDL and NULCA certification are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years of utility locating or designating experience.
• Experience with Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to obtain DOT Medical card; CDL a plus.
• NULCA or other certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a vacuum excavation truck and related equipment safely.
• Designate/locate underground utilities, create field sketches, perform measurements, document daily activities.
