We are hiring for a field-based role focused on underground utility locating and vacuum excavation operations. Candidates should have at least 2 years of relevant experience, knowledge of GPR, surveying and CADD, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to designate/locate a variety of underground utilities and document activities.
• Experience in utility locating/designation with multiple pipe and cable locating devices.
• Experience with Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) is preferred.
• Basic traffic control knowledge and safety practices around traffic.
• Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), Surveying, CADD experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a vacuum excavation truck and related equipment safely.
• Designate/locate underground utilities and create legible field sketches.
• Document daily activities and perform records research.
• Adhere to safety and traffic-control requirements.
• Support SUE and related field activities as needed.
