Job summary

The Subsurface Utility Engineering team at KCI Technologies, Inc. in Georgetown, MA is seeking SUE technicians to locate underground utilities using EM, non-destructive geophysical methods, and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR).

Travel up to 90% may be required, with per diem and lodging provided when needed. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain required certifications.

Duties, Responsibilities & Other

• Locate underground utilities through nondestructive methods via EM and GPR .


• Travel is required up to 90% of the time.


• Per Diem and Lodging is paid for if required.


• Must operate and maintain company equipment and vehicles.


• Aiding other SUE Techicians with field data collection.


• Training will be provided to meet company safety standards and to keep up with current SUE methodologies.


• Training provided to process GPR data collected.


• Ability to research and review utility company records and identify utilities from field observation .


• Knowledge and experience with utility line locating equipment (SUE Designating) -Tech Level established based on experience.


• Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, etc.)


• Excellent communication skills and a team attitude .
