As part of the Subway Team, you as a Manager will focus on eight main areas:

1. Providing an excellent guest experience
2. Ensuring that great food is prepared & served
3. Keeping our restaurants functional, clean, and attractive
4. Managing inventory and money control systems
5. Coordinating local marketing initiatives, including community outreach
6. Recruiting staff
7. Maintaining standards of restaurant safety and security
8. Being a team player

Additional responsibilities include:

1. Recruiting and rewarding outstanding team members
2. Ensuring safety and security protocols are followed, including adherence to local and national health and food safety codes
3. Maintaining business records and analyzing them to help increase sales
4. Identifying and contacting prospective guests to promote sales
5. Supporting marketing initiatives, ensuring the restaurant is prepared for new marketing campaigns
6. Planning special events and promotions

Prerequisites:

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
• At least 2 years of experience in a restaurant environment, with supervising and training staff

Essential functions include:

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with all team levels
• Computer literacy
• Physical ability to work in any restaurant area, operate POS systems, and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, walking, and lifting up to 30 pounds
