Job summary

Ardurra is seeking a Subsurface Utility Engineering Field Technician in Fort Walton Beach, FL to document underground utility conditions using visual inspection, GPS, GPR, and related testing methods.

This on-site role offers training for new hires and a chance to work within a multidisciplinary engineering team on public and private projects.

Candidates should be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, reading engineering drawings, and communicating clearly in writing and speech.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; willing to train new hires with no experience.
• Must be able to perform field investigation duties under adverse conditions and weather.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Documentation of underground utility conditions via visual inspection techniques, GPS, GPR, smoke testing equipment, and other tools as needed.
• Lift and carry testing equipment up to 50 lbs; open manholes up to 120 lbs; traverse difficult terrain.
• Work independently under all weather conditions to provide field inspection services.
