Job summary

California Surveying & Drafting Supply, Inc. (CSDS) is seeking an Account Manager for our Subsurface Technologies team (pipe locating & camera inspection) primarily in Arizona and Palm Desert, CA.

You will consult with clients and sell Radiodetection & Pearpoint equipment to utilities, municipalities, contractors, land surveyors, engineers, construction, and mining professionals. You will meet clients in person and perform site demos within your territory to grow accounts.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and business growth.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings, product demonstrations, and industry events.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients in construction, utility, engineering, and geophysical sectors.
• Identify client needs and recommend subsurface technologies such as GPR, locators, seismic sensors, and electromagnetic instruments.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals and post-sales support.
• Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and technical consultations.
• Collaborate with technical support and product specialists to provide optimal solutions.
• Stay up to date on industry trends, regulations, and subsurface technologies.
• Attend trade shows and industry events to expand market presence.
• Achieve or exceed sales targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
