Job summary

MIRATECH is seeking a Substrate Assembly Technician in Maryville, Tennessee. This role focuses on production of foil substrates using automated and manual machinery, with training on 1st shift before moving to 2nd shift.

Key duties include setting up catalyst substrates, operating and maintaining fabrication equipment, interpreting work orders, leading the team in the supervisor's absence, and ensuring QC compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years experience in metal fabrication.
• Experience with CNC machinery preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• PLC programming experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Setup and form all catalyst substrates on fabrication machines.
• Operate and troubleshoot substrate fabrication equipment; perform basic preventative maintenance.
• Prepare raw materials for welders.
• Interpret and implement Work Orders/Production Data Sheets.
• Lead Substrate Assembly Dept in supervisor's absence.
• Measure and assess product to meet QC specs.
• Record quality control data for materials and finished products.
• Load, operate, and troubleshoot oxidation furnaces.
• Understand all product, quality, and customer specifications.
• Perform accurate inventory counts and record transactions.
