Job summary

MIRATECH in Maryville, TN is seeking a Substrate Assembly Technician to produce foil substrates using automated and manual equipment. You will set up and form catalyst substrates, operate fabrication machines, and ensure QC compliance throughout the process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year in metal fabrication with metalworking experience.
• Experience running industrial equipment.
• Experience with CNC machinery.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• PLC programming experience considered a plus.
• Ability to lift 60 lbs.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Strong time management and organization.

Responsibilities

• Setup and form catalyst substrates on fabrication machines.
• Operate and troubleshoot substrate fabrication equipment; perform basic preventative maintenance.
• Prepare raw materials for welders.
• Interpret and implement Work Orders/Production Data Sheets.
• Lead Substrate Assembly Department in supervisor's absence.
• Measure and record product QC data to meet specifications.
• Load, operate, and troubleshoot oxidation furnaces.
• Perform inventory counts and support R&D projects.
